Located in Auckland’s SkyCity precinct, The All Blacks Experience is a fully guided, interactive showcase of New Zealand’s national rugby teams. It entertains, educates, and gives visitors a taste of what it’s like to wear the black jersey and represent the country.
Visitors follow a player’s journey from club rugby to joining the legendary All Blacks through three themed spaces: Making, Shaping, and Being All Blacks. They then face a six-metre high All Blacks haka before entering an interactive zone where they can test their kicking, catching, line-out, and accuracy skills against a virtual All Blacks team.
Using technology and innovative design, the experience is fully immersive and the only rugby attraction of its kind in New Zealand—and the only All Blacks attraction in the world.
Pelorus was brought in by exhibition designer Workshop E to turn the concept into full construction documentation for consenting, tendering, and building. Working closely with Workshop E, specialist consultants, and contractor Naylor Love, Pelorus helped ensure the final project lives up to New Zealand’s most iconic sporting brand.
The Pelorus team were exceptionally good to work with and I would have no hesitation in recommending Pelorus Architecture.
