This new space was created to make waiting less stressful and more comfortable for young patients and their families. By separating children from adult patients, the environment is safer and more child-friendly, with features designed to suit the needs of kids.

Key design requirements included maintaining clear visibility for nursing staff so children could be monitored easily, and creating a welcoming, engaging space with decorations suitable for young children. All of this was carefully planned and fitted within the existing waiting area, making the most of the space while improving the overall experience for children and their families.
