This project transforms a former clinical building into a functional, flexible workplace for clinicians and support staff.

Permanent staff are located at perimeter desks with natural light and views, while a central open flexible workspace serves staff who move frequently to and from clinical areas in the wider hospital. Offices are small, minimal, and can be easily converted into quiet rooms or meeting rooms.

The interior reflects the client’s brand through calm tones and subtle colour accents, ensuring no area feels more important than another.

Sustainability was key, with carbon-neutral, fully recyclable carpet saving 13 tonnes of carbon. Exposed structure and services create a light, loft-like feel, with simple acoustic treatment overhead. Existing structural elements are lightly sanded and left exposed—warts and all. This bold expression is further echoed in the strong and humorous graphic artwork applied to the café wall.
